designed with imagination. expanded with vision. transforming with innovation and style

Investing $65 million in capital improvements in 2011, Hyatt Regency Atlanta has been a hospitality landmark since its opening in 1967. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta on the city's famed Peachtree Street, the hotel has served as gathering place for individual travelers, business groups and associations from across the world for the past four decades.

The 1,260-room Hyatt Regency Atlanta was designed by renowned architect John Portman and was the first atrium hotel in the world. Rooted in the history of Atlanta and America, the hotel was a base for Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights Movement and has hosted some of the most famous Americans of the past century, from Muhammad Ali and Aretha Franklin to every U.S. president from Richard Nixon to Barak Obama.

Today, Hyatt Regency Atlanta is one of America's premier convention and tradeshow facilities with 180,000 square feet of ballroom, exhibit and meeting and hospitality space. The hotel's Centennial Ballroom is the largest ballroom space in the Atlanta market.

The hotel's $65 million transformation, to be completed in 2011, includes a modernization of Centennial Ballroom, updates to Hyatt Regency Atlanta's Atrium lobby, entryway, food and beverage concepts and Atrium Tower guest rooms. This major transformation speaks to our commitment to ensure the hotel continues to be an innovative destination for years to come.

*The Hyatt Regency Atlanta Pool will be closed Sunday, October 9th at 10pm. It will reopen late April/Early May 2012.
