stay in or head out on the town. the possibilities are endless at the hyatt regency.

Hyatt Regency Atlanta is rooted in the history of its hometown, so we can tell you that Atlanta is a fun, vibrant place, full of character and history, an economic boomtown that offers the finer things in life, but a familiar place that feels like home. You may not be in Atlanta long, but we wanted to give you a real taste of the best of our community.

Opening in 1967, Hyatt Regency Atlanta has a long and colorful local history. We were one of the earliest Hyatt hotels. We were the first atrium-style hotel. Some of the most famous personalities in the world - from Muhammad Ali to Richard Nixon to Bono – have been our guests. And in keeping with the legacy of our hometown, we were among the first hotels to welcome African American guests, including Atlanta’s most famous son, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Hyatt Regency Atlanta provides a variety of onsite activities. Work out in the 24 hour, 5,000 square foot StayFit™ gym. Take a dip in the outdoor heated pool or soak up the sun on our sundeck.

The hotel is just 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and conveniently connected indoors to Atlanta’s MARTA public rail system (at the Peachtree Center Station), so getting around is easy. And you can always ask our helpful concierge and dedicated staff for help. Plan a sightseeing tour from our Atlanta hotel:

  • Peachtree Center Mall
  • Georgia World Congress Center
  • AmericasMart
  • CNN Center
  • Georgia Aquarium (the world's largest)
