dine on extraordinary cuisine, prepared by Hyatt Regency Atlanta’s acclaimed chef.
Even if our guests can’t leave the hotel, at Hyatt Regency Atlanta, we want them to experience a taste and flavor that’s indicative of Atlanta. In 2011, Hyatt Regency Atlanta announced that Chef Martin Pfefferkorn has joined the landmark hotel as Executive Chef, commanding the entire culinary operation with plans to open three new restaurant concepts.
Chef Pfefferkorn, an Austrian-born, classically trained chef with more than 20 years of experience in hotels and resorts around the world, is renowned for his expertise in catering for large events and gatherings, including weddings, social banquets, business meetings and corporate functions.
Chef Pfefferkorn’s philosophy is to bring local, seasonal food to hotel dining - from banquet and event catering to the full-service restaurant to the lobby bar. His recipes have a uniquely fresh, Southern flavor and incorporate locally grown vegetables, regional fish and poultry, as well as bacon, sausage and pork products from nearby farms.
Chef Pfefferkorn’s first new dining concept is Twenty-Two Storys, a lobby bar that features a ‘beer forward’ menu that incorporates beer and ale from native Georgia breweries into entrees, appetizers and desserts.
In addition to Twenty-Two Storys, other restaurant offerings as part of the transformation will include a new full-service restaurant and a grab-and-go option for guests looking for an alternative to sit-down dining or room service.
In-room dining is available for our guests from 6:30a.m. to 12:30a.m. Call ext. 54 to place an order.
